Ashbourne
This event is a British Triathlon pilot, as part of the findings of the Participation Review. This recreational opportunity is aimed at beginners who would like to try bike and run together. The event is untimed and non-competitive, it’s all about doing your best and giving it a go. The distances that are promoted are maximum distances and you can do as little or as much as you want.
Please be aware that the maximum distances on the day may have a 10% variance either way to those advertised, due to the nature of the course and facility.
The duathlon is on the traffic free circuit at Darley Moor Racing Circuit near Ashbourne. The run is on the perimeter track and the bike on the circuit itself. There will be three waves; one for families, one for juniors (under 15) and one for adults (15 and over).
If you are entering the family wave, there is a maximum of 3 per family, 1 adult to 2 children ratio. Please enter providing the adult information and please ensure you provide the name, D.O.B and any medical information about your participating children at registration on the day of the event.
